BRENDA O’RAND, age 66, of North Richland Hills, formerly of Irving, died Friday, June 24, 2011 at a Fort Worth hospital. Born August 3, 1944 in Ailleen, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Louis Garfield Magby and Eva Blunt Magby. A homemaker, she was a member of Calvary Church in Irving. Preceded in death by her parents, a son, Rick O’Rand, and sister, Mildred Ridge, she is survived by a daughter Michelle Minor and husband Dane of West Lake, TX,; three sons, Jason O’Rand and wife Jeannie of Irving, Randy O’Rand of California, and Phillip O’Rand and wife Kitty of Mount Pleasant; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters, Marge Keel and Nedra Dodson; and brothers, Wyley Magby and Raymond Magby. Funeral service will be Noon Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. Memorials may be made to Ovarian Cancer Society.
